

The Whiteside Museum of Natural History in Seymour, Texas is proud to announce the second annual “Permian Fest”, which will be held from June 6th through June 8th. The festival will include three days of unique, science and paleontology theme vendors, food trucks, and professional lectures. After the festival, we will host 3 Permian Dig Workshops. In addition to Permian Fest, we will unveil our museum expansion!

Permian Fest will offer multiple lectures throughout each day of the lecture series from prominent scientists in the paleontology industry. This represents an incredibly rare opportunity for families and students to attend these lectures, which would otherwise be too expensive and unattainable.

We provide parking on the north parking lot on the side of the museum, including street parking.
